“Adelita Sanchez – Harvey Girl,” the stage play by Rudy J. Miera, is a winning Finalist in the Latino Scripts/Books into Movies program. Along with the works by 4 other Finalists in the Drama category, the script will be submitted by the Latino Literacy Now organization to the top Television Networks and Film Production companies. Veteran Chicano actor Edward James Olmos (who is the Latino Literacy Board Chair) recently made the announcement at the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre Complex on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.
